Darren Bent joked that he’s ‘annoyed’ at Andy Carroll taking the no.2 shirt at Reading, but nothing compares to William Gallas’ ‘disrespectful’ no.10.
Carroll has ended his most recent spell as a free agent by returning to Reading, the side he left for an uneventful time at West Brom last season.

“You think about some of the players… the best players are usually no.10 and he went and took it and played centre-half with it.
“It’s not acceptable, no.10 for a centre-half is not acceptable. Diego Maradona, Pele, 10s, Gallas, centre-half 10.
“Ronaldinho, Messi, Gallas, come on. It’s bizarre.”
